Not as open minded as you think. An old store called "Tie Me Down" was forced out of business by the Brady Street business collective. It didn't fit the image they are trying to force on us. The old "Tie Me Down" shop now houses a beeper/cellphone store. WOW...what an improvement.
I do like most of what's on Brady Street though.

The powers that be at Alterra Inc. are wizzards at getting prime spots. This location is the prime example of this. Alterra is known for having locations with a unique flavor and character. How long before they go public and make the BIG money?

Rufus King the home of the generals!! The blue and gold colors were a symbol of success and riches in life. Many people wanted to attend the best high school in the city of Milwaukee, but couldn't handle the pressure of the work to become an over achiever. Known for the excellences in academics, Rufus King will always be apart of my life!!

This is the smallest park in the milwaukee county park system. The park is named after the Kaszubes who once inhabited Jones Island before it became a peninsula. The park is marked by an anchor with a plaque and the stump from a large willow tree that until recently was at the center of the park. The park has been landscaped since the demise of the tree, and a portion of the dismembered trunk can be seen on the other side of the chain link fence bordering the park.
