This complex was originally 2 industrial buildings. The eastern part, built in 1914, was originally a Ford Motors assembly plant. The western portion was a torpedo factory during WWII.

this is the site of one of the older McD's around. It had the old style Golden Arches well after McD's started to transform into what it is like today. That is, you would walk up to a window. No indoor seating. White tiles. You could even order things not listed on their posted menu!.
